The Partiologist: Candy Corn Rice Krispie Treats!

Candy Corn Rice Krispie Treats!

I created an easy way to make Candy Corn Rice Krispie Treats - YES - It has now taken the world by storm!

Candy Corn Rice Krispie Treats

Grab a bag of Jet-Puffed Marshmallows and a box of Rice Krispies.

While I was melting the butter and marshmallows, I added food coloring but first I saved some of the plain white.

Started with yellow coloring.

Then added it to the rice krispies.

Then made orange marshmallow and added it to the rice krispies.

After mixing it all together, I pressed it around a greased cake pan and it should look like this when you're done.

See, you know where I'm going with this don't you?

After it sets up, flip it over on a cutting board.

And then slice it up like a pizza!

Perfect little candy corn shapes!

Then you can tie them up for gift giving.

Aren't they just the cutest?

Now, if you have any left over colored rice krispies and you haven't eaten it already, make some little round cakes.

And wrap them up like Smarties.

I would feel honored if you would like to call me "Smartie Pants"!

I hope I put some Snap, Crackle and Pop in your week!

  12. How did you get your three rows of different colors so even and perfect? These are spectacular!

  13. Thanks for all your comments!! Katie - I used a smaller round pan and pushed it around inside the circle. You could use a soup can or something straight up and round. Does that make sense? I should have taken photos, but I was working fast!

  17. Awesome! Do you remember how much food coloring, crispies, and marshmallows you used for each part of this? Or did you just eye ball it?

  19. These are so cute! I'm going to attempt to make them right now for the kiddos Halloween Party in my neighborhood! I've seen other candy corns where they just layered the different colored rice krispies and cut into triangles but these are way cuter! :)
