The Partiologist: Push Pops - Day 7 - Candle

Push Pops - Day 7 - Candle

I know it's black Friday and I should be out pushing and shoving (just kidding) but instead I'm Push Popping!  I really hope you know what this is supposed to be, my husband didn't get it.  But then again, he didn't get the gingerbread push pop either! :)

Candle Push Pop

I started with  pretty scrapbook paper and glittered light bulb picks (Joann Fabrics).

Cut the paper to fit the Push Pop and then cut off the bulbs~I only used one bulb, but didn't know which one would look best.

I then used my hot glue and made some 'drips' around the top of the Push Pop and sprinkled it with glitter before it dried.

I hope you know where I'm going with this, it really turned out cuter in my head, but I had already glued the paper on the Push Pop container so I had to continue...and here it is.

A Push Pop Candle?

And cookies to put inside.

You could fill it with Chocolate Kisses - who doesn't love a Kiss?

I hope this put a little light in your Black Friday!

This Christmas, Glow all out!

  1. I totally could see it. My husband does the same thing. They look and flip it and then say "nice" when you know they don't have a clue what it is.
This is great! You could decorate it as a birthday candle, too, for birthday parties.

    Thanks again!

  8. This would be great for the kids to make for Chanukkah, then let them eat the candy each night when they "light" the candle!

  9. that's 2 push-pop "wows" you've made... I don't know if we have such a thing in Australia - but I'm going looking... very clever.
