The Partiologist: Mini OREO'S

Mini OREO'S

Why did I decide to made one more little treat for the fourth?  I'm not sure, but they were easy and I thought you might want to make a few too!  After making the Stars and Stripes Chocolate Covered OREO'S, I got to THINKING about making chocolate covered Mini OREO'S.  Then I got to MAKING cocolate covered Mini Oreo's and here they are!

Mini Oreo's

So easy, no special mold is needed!
SUPPLIES
Mini Muffin Pan
Mini Muffin Papers
Wilton Candy Melts
Mini OREO'S
Patriotic Nonpareils

DIRECTIONS
Place muffin papers in pan.
Melt one color candy melts.
Fill bottom of paper.
Add mini OREO.
Top with more candy melts.
Let set awhile and then add the nonpareils.

After I was done making them, I needed something to transport the little beauties and I came up with a great way to keep them in place.  What do you think?
So now you can MAKE and TAKE dozens of these little chocolate Oreo's anywhere.  I think (not promising) this will be the end of my patriotic goodies.

Hurray for Holidays!

    1. If you seal in a zip lock bag, I think they would last a couple weeks on a shelf. If you seal and freeze them, they should last a few months.
