The Partiologist: Candy Cane Lane!

Candy Cane Lane!

*WARNING*

There is a lot of Peppermint packed into this post!
We've been through the Gingerbread Bakery, took a peek at the Santa Suit Table and now that we're home from the Cake Pop Tree Farm, it's time to take a tour through Candy Cane Lane.

Candy Cane Lane

It's a frosty corner where you could find all things "minty".  Like these Peppermint Bark Snowflakes~

Super simple with a Wilton Peppermint kit - pipe chocolate candy melts into the snowflake cookie cutter and then the peppermint candy melts.

I added crushed candy canes on top.

They will melt in your hand, before you get them in your mouth.

So I packaged them up for everyone to take home~

I didn't forget the popular Peppermint Whoopie Pies~

I made them a couple of years ago for a party and they came out wonderful.

This year they came out ugly.  So what do you do when you end up with an ugly treat?

You wrap it in pretty paper!

And call them Peppermint "Whoopsie" Pies!

I heard that Santa had several of these out for his Elves.

Peppermint Poles!

Peppermint Sticks dipped in chocolate and spinkled with nonpareils.

It's a simple, sweet and snazzy treat with the added tag...

Now you're probably wondering what will be given in these bags...

Okay, I just told you.

I put the little bags together like this~

Added a white scalloped circle and red pom pom.

The Labels~

The backdrop was faux fur fabric and a ribbon banner~

Almost forgot - Chocolate dipped Peppermint Oreo's topped with Andes Peppermint Crunch Chips!

It is NOT possible to leave out Peppermintinis!

While they are nothing new, the way I served them IS!  How about something Frosty and Fabulous?

Displayed on a shadow box filled with peppermint candies!

Thinking 'outside the box', or should I say 'inside the rim' this is what I did~

I peppermintized the INSIDE of the Martini Glasses!

Like this~

First I tied on little Peppermint Stirrers to the stem. (A candy cane would be cute too!)

Then I painted the INSIDE of the glass (using a pastry brush) with Karo syrup and sprinkled with crushed peppermint.  Double the fun - More joy for your jingle!

Let's just say I didn't know I loved peppermint as much as I do until I made this Peppermint Cake. It was the "Cane Attraction"!

Sparkly, White Chocolate, Peppermint Trees lined the sides!

It's what we saved room for.

Displayed on a layer of snow~

There's no business like snow business!

If this were a planet, it would be Peppermintron~

One slice of this left me wanting more...so I had more.

NOT Reindeer Food.

Peppermint...

So Cool, It's Twisted!

  1. I love peppermint. All of your peppermint ideas are amazing, but the glasses lined with peppermint served on a shadow box filled with peppermint is just wonderfully over the top. I might have to borrow that idea!!!!

  8. Once or rather, yet again, I'm blown away by your creativity. I had to go back and read your *About Me* page to see if you run a Party Planning business because if you don't you should think about doing so. Also, I know one day you want to write a book about all your parties and I just want to tell you that there is no time like the present. I know it would be a big hit!

  12. I have been looking for a printable of a starlight mint peppermint candy like the one shown with your "whoopsie pies". Where did you find yours?

    1. I'm not sure what you mean, I didn't use any printable here, the candy is actually a wooden stand I found at Hobby Lobby and the stripe parchment paper is from Michaels. Hope this helps! :)
