The Partiologist: Cookie Exchange Christmas Party!

Cookie Exchange Christmas Party!

What do you think when you get an invitation to a cookie exchange?  Well, the guests that received these invitations were pretty pleased and I'll tell you why.  I decided to host a cookie exchange because I found some really cute invitations.  Only, I decided to make it a little easier on the guests.

Christmas Invitation

Just pull out the card...

For all of the information~

No need to bring cookies!!

The invitation actually came with a card to fill out by hand.  And you all know how I feel about that, so I took ivory colored Avery business cards and used one of their templates, designed and printed the card.  I found the invitation a few years ago and finally decided to have a "cookie exchange"!

A fun element I add to my parties is the "Peek Inside The Party"!  While I'm busy working away at home, I send out an e-mail to all the party guests with one clue - a partial photo of what I'm working on along with some crazy note.  Here were the nine photos (one photo each day for nine days) I sent to see if they could guess...

Can you?

Two of the items are found Here:

I purchased a gift pack of tea at Target and then individually wrapped them.  I came across this recipe for Peanut Butter Cookie Granola. and added Holiday M & M's for color. It. Is. A. Keeper.

This back drop was super simple - a paper chain hanging in front of a artist canvas!  How's that for super AND simple?

Party Props!

Tied them onto bags filled with peanut butter cookies.

Lot's more party pics to come...It's going to be Fa La La Fabulous!

Cookies Anyone?

  1. Looks like fun. I love the invitations and I feel the same way about handwriting any information. I'm ever so grateful for computers when it comes to sending invites.
