The Partiologist: Funny Bunnies!

Funny Bunnies!

I made these funny looking Easter Treats a while ago and didn't know what to call them.  I still don't know what to call them because they look like they're flying through the air and that is not what I had intended.
Funny Bunny Flying Saucers~

I'm not exactly sure what I was thinking when I made these... (maybe just another EGGScuse for Chocolate?)  They look like flying saucers, so let's pretend that's what I intended them to be...

I suppose any child would like these treats because you can eat everything in the egg.  It's a Rice Krispie Treat, Butter Cream Frosting Grass with Chocolate Covered Sunflower Seed Eggs and a Chocolate Bunny in the middle.  Don't they look like they're racing down the bunny trail?  Okay, maybe not the bunny trail, Funny Bunny Saucers flying through the sky.

These Bunny Saucers even have a capsule to keep out the wind~
Now that I've admitted to making these, ahem...
I'll show you how to make some too!
1.  Purchase clear top plastic Easter Eggs.

2.  Wash and dry the eggs, top and bottom.

3.  Make chocolate bunnies - obviously NOT the large bunny.

4.  Press homemade Rice Krispie Treats into the colored part of the egg.

5.  Cut out a hole in the RKT to place the chocolate bunny.
Make sure the top will fit and not touch the chocolate bunny.

6.  Pipe green Butter Cream grass on top of Rice Krispie treat.

7.  Top with chocolate covered sunflower seeds for eggs.

8.  Place chocolate bunny in egg and pipe more grass up to the bunny.

9.  Add the top and get ready to FLY!!

With Easter hopping closer, you'll be hearing from me often...
This Chick A Dee has more for you to see!

Hop On Over!
