Teachers everywhere should be celebrated everyday for all they do for our children. I have seen a wonderful assortment of ideas for teacher gifts on the web and thought I should add one too. During back to school week, I made pencil cookies HERE and a very creative friend wanted to order some for her child's teachers along with a tag that read:
Thanks for making me one "Sharp" Cookie!
Since I aim to please, I made the cookies and the tag!

Now you didn't think I would show you the cute printable tags without making one for you, did you? Don't worry my friends, I made one for you!

ReplyDeleteThank you for sharing this wonderful idea for teachers. I have never used a cookie template before :(... how is it used?

Thanks for the comment Nadya! Print out the cookie cutter template and cut out the pencil shape. Trace the pencil shape on to something sturdy (card stock, plastic from a plastic container lid, etc.) and cut again. Lay the cookie template on top of your cookie dough and cut around the dough. Here is a link to a great tutorial from a friend of mine:

THANK YOU
ReplyDeleteI love this idea and the tags are the cutest! I tried to print some out but they come out too small and don't align on my business card sheets =( but thanks for sharing!
ReplyDeleteI'm so sorry they did not work for you. I just printed it out again on Avery Clean Edge Business Cards #8877 and they came out perfect. If you don't have that brand, maybe just print them out on white cardstock and cut with a paper cutter. Hope this helps.
DeleteWhat an adorable idea, and the tags are just the cutest! I tried printing them out but they come out too small and don't align on my business card sheets =( thanks for sharing though!
ReplyDeleteI absolutely love this idea and I have some Avery business cards. Thank you for the great inspiration.
