The Partiologist: Book Worm Cupcakes!

Book Worm Cupcakes!

Along with all the other apple themed treats for the party, I decided to make an apple cupcake.  Not JUST any apple cupcake, this cupcake has a little book worm ready to read!

Book Worm Cupcakes

You can only imagine the squeal's coming from the kiddos AND the adults when they saw these little cupcakes!  If you're interested in a very detailed step by step tutorial on how I made these little critters, it's up on the SugarEd Productions Sugar Art School NOW

Before I show you the entire class, I want to show your two very easy chocolate treats!  Because I had one jar on the left holding the chocolate suckers, I needed to fill the jar on the right.  That's where the chocolate dipped pretzel sticks came in.

First dipped in chocolate and then rolled in chopped walnuts.  Before they dried completely, I sprinkled red and green sprinkles to go with the apple theme.

And to go with the ABC theme, I added a 123 theme, so really it IS easy as ABC 123!  Fudge had to be a part of the class of apples.

Here's a close up of each apple in the class!

Starting on the left - the one and only Apple Book Worm Cupcake.

Next was the 123 Fudge.

Right next to the fudge were the wrapped mini Hershey bars.  (After the party while I was cleaning up, I found a wrapper in the corner in my bedroom.  Hmmm, they left the evidence as I had little tags printed with their name on the back - BLAKE???)

A favorite of mine were the Apple Popcorn Balls.

I needed a special place for my class of apples.

And with a chalkboard background, this was the spot.  I'm not sure if you can tell, but the front items are all placed on a clip board for display!

So if you were an apple which would you be?  I would be...

A Candy Apple!
