The Partiologist: St. Patrick's Day Rice Krispie Treats!

St. Patrick's Day Rice Krispie Treats!

These may not look like Rice Krispie Treats, but trust me they are.  Nestled beneath that Leprechaun Hat is a big green treat.

St. Pat's Rice Krispie Treat

A BIG GREEN Rice Krispie Treat.

When the hats come off, the Krispies come out...Serve them up or down.

Either way they taste great.  I know, there were five hats...
Here's how~

Find mini Leprechaun hats at the dollar store.

Snip the elastic off the hat, unless you have a little leprechaun who wants to wear it.

Mix up a regular batch of Rice Krispie Treats and add green food coloring.

Spray the inside of the hats with Pam.

Press the green Rice Krispie Treat inside all five of the hats.

Insert a shamrock straw in the Rice Krispie.

Eat one and say the recipe only made four.

Here's a look at a few treats from the past~

I Mustache, are you Irish?

Irish you a Happy St. Patrick's Day!
