The Partiologist: Birthday Cookies!

Birthday Cookies!

Not only does April showers bring May Flowers and Graduations, it also brings Birthdays.  And if you've ever wanted a cookie that is simple to make, yet simply amazing, these are the cookies for you.  It's like a cookie party in a box!

Birthday Cookies!

Are they not the perfect compliment to the bright colored box?

And yes, it was another box I found at the dollar store, screaming for me to take it and make it great.

And about those little birthday stamps?

Can you say P A R T Y ?

Here's a cute tute to show you how~

I found rubber stamps at Michaels.

Made for soap but perfect for cookies.

If you can wash your mouth out with soap, I figured they were food safe.

I started with all kinds of colors of Wilton fondant and even colored a little of my own!

Roll out a small piece of fondant and lay it over the rubber stamp.

Then roll over the fondant and peel off the stamp.

Cut with a cookie cutter the size of the stamp.

Continue doing this with all the colors you want to use.

Cut and bake your cookies, top with frosting and place the fondant on the cookie.

You could also just add the fondant directly to the cookie without frosting.

Anyway you want, you'll end up with super cute birthday cookies in a super duper cute box.

Is that the end?  Don't even think about it.

I went on and created Birthday OREO cookies.

Maybe you want to have a little chocolate with your chocolate?

Then look no further, these are the cookies for you.  Chocolate Covered Oreo's!

Using the same stamp, and Double Stuf Oreo's I went to work.

To use the Wilton Candy Melts I keep in canning jars, just reheat.

I then tried out several pans and molds until I found one that would work.

A cupcake muffin tin.  Place the stamp in the tin face up.

Pour a little chocolate on top of each stamp, add the Oreo.

I didn't cover the bottom of the Oreo because that would have been a LOT of chocolate.

Refrigerate until firm and tip the pan over and out popped the cookies.

Peel the stamp off the top and have a bite, just kidding, they are a BIRTHDAY GIFT!

Ready to make that tiny little box feel special?

Wrap it up!

What does the Box Say?
