The Partiologist: Watermelon Yogurt Pops!

Watermelon Yogurt Pops!

It's June and in my mind that means SUMMER.  What else means summer in my mind?  Watermelon.

Watermelon Yogurt Pops!

It's just what the doctor ordered because I have a Summer Cold.  Can you believe it?

It's only the first of June and I'm already coughing and have lost my voice.

I'm pretty sure I got this summer cold from a teeny tiny little girl who was visiting us last weekend.

Lucky you, this isn't a you tube video.

Gather yogurt, chocolate chips and white paper cones.

Add a little red food coloring to the yogurt and pour in a few chocolate chips.  Stir.

Place paper cones into the ice cream cone holder/baker.

Add the watermelon yogurt to the bottom 3/4 of the cone and partially freeze.

Remove from freezer and top with green yogurt and freeze until partially frozen, remove from freezer and insert the cookie sticks.

Freeze until solid and remove the wrapper.

Enjoy to the very last seed.  How fun to be able to eat the watermelon seeds right?

Time to Chill Out...

  1. Sorry you are under the weather. One of these yogurt pops would sure make a sore throat feel better, at least for a little while.

  2. Ugh, I hate summer colds. Somehow they always seem worse in the summer. I hope you feel better soon, Kim.

I’m loving these yogurt pops. They’re so cute as are the rest of your delights. Frozen yogurt is delicious anyway, but even better with chocolate chips and then made into little watermelons.

  7. I just wanted to let you know that I am fairly new to your website and love it so much that I use it daily and always find something awesome to make so cudos to you my friend. I do have a question however, I might be stating the obvious on these yogurt pops but was wondering the quantity of yogurt needed to make these or do you use one cup yogurt for each pop? Just wondering. Hope your back on your feet soon!

    1. Hi Lynn, thank you so much for your sweet comment, it makes me want to continue sharing my creativity! I just opened a few containers of yogurt for the watermelon, colored it and filled the cups until they were partially full. I only made a few, so I didn't need a lot for each yogurt pop. Sorry, I really didn't measure out the amount for each one.
