The Partiologist: DIY Chocolate Gifts!

DIY Chocolate Gifts!

For those that know me, whenever I need to take a little something as a gift, it's usually homemade and it usually involves chocolate.  A few days ago I wanted to make a little something to say thank you.  Some say thank you with flowers, I say thank you with chocolate.  Chocolate Dipped Pretzels

Chocolate Dipped Pretzels

First dipped in chocolate and then dipped in a few other sweets to make them pretty.

I had to quick tie them up with a ribbon, just for their safety.

I've got some breaking news... Oreo's have now come out with the Reese's Peanut Butter Cup OREO.

It was only a matter of time before they added that combo to their already awesome collection.

For testing purposes only, I purchased a package.

The testing came out with a thumbs up, so I made them into sweet treats...

And guess what I dipped them in?

None other than peanut butter candy melts, more chocolate and chopped peanuts.

Yea, they were good.

Using my mini chopper, I chopped the peanuts until they were chopped pretty fine.

Or until my chopper started to smell like rubber burning, then I decided to quit.

If you want to give more of a healthy gift, why not do the same, dipping strawberries in chocolate?

That's healthy, right?  Gourmet Chocolate Covered Strawberries How To HERE

Now they're ready to give to a sweet friend...

Or a friend that loves chocolate as much as you!

Be sure to make a few extra...Just in case!

And OMG did I just see peanut butter cup oreos? Now I want to just jump on a plane and live there forever, because we don't get those here, and that makes me sad. I NEED some of those... sigh. :(
