The Partiologist: Valentine Star Wars Cookies & Free Printable!

Valentine Star Wars Cookies & Free Printable!

I'm sorry.  I really had no intention of posting Valentine Cookies so early, it just happened.

Let's talk about Star Wars...and I am saying this very quietly, I haven't seen any of the Star Wars movies.  I know, I might be the only one on the planet that hasn't seen the movies, but I did make cookies.  And that should count for something.

After the cookies were baked and sealed with chocolate I decided they would make the perfect Valentine Cookie for your favorite Star Wars fan, with the FREE printable tag!

Chocolate Gingerbread Star Wars Cookies!

I had gingerbread cookie dough in the freezer from a Christmas project I didn't get finished.

And I had Star Wars cookie cutters.

Ohhhhh, but that's not all.

I covered the back in chocolate.

Gingerbread and chocolate...the best combination!

So easy to make!

The imprint cutter does all the work.

I purchased the imprint cutters long long ago and have only used them once before now.

I won't show you those.  Or should I?

Those took way to long and I know you don't have time for that.

Anyway, roll out the gingerbread dough, cut, bake and cool.

You're almost finished.

Fill a Wilton candy bag with chocolate candy melts.

Melt in microwave at half power, 30 second intervals until melted.

Cut the end off the bag and pipe the chocolate, covering the back of the cookie.

Next, print the cute Cute Star Wars Printable Valentine.  HERE

I purchased some of the cute Star Wars clip art on Etsy by Dorky Prints and knew they needed to be made into Valentine printables, then I added some of my own.

I printed on Avery business cards, you can also print on white card stock and cut.

Punch a hole in the upper left corner.

Place the cookie in the bag and tie with the ribbon and tag.

And you've got yourself a Valentine cookie.

Presenting each cookie with it's tag!

Or you could serve them on a platter.

Only, I like them better packaged.

Which is why they turned into Valentine cookies.

Just for you!

Happy Pre-Valentine's Day...
