The Partiologist: Shabby Chic Dessert Table!

Shabby Chic Dessert Table!

It's time! Time to put it all together and show you the dessert table.  Even though the dessert table was for a birthday, it could easily be used for a bridal shower, baby shower or any other reason to celebrate.  There's always a reason to celebrate, right?

Shabby Chic Dessert Table

So here it is, what do you think?

Not too shabby, right?

I want you to take a closer look!

It's probably not close enough...

All the sweet treats ready and waiting!

I got up early, very early to be ready for the day.

It's my favorite part of the party...setting everything out.

And the pretty wire shelf was just perfect.

Holding the cake pop topiary trees...

And the Espresso Truffles...

And then the shabby chic rose cupcakes...

Topped with a swirl of buttercream.

And the rum infused cake balls were front and center.

Not to forget the malted milk bird eggs in the bird feeder!

I was so happy to find the colorful eggs!

I was even happier I didn't eat them all before the party.

The table is draped in burlap and the oval in the center of the table is a picture frame.

Cupcake stands held the pina colada cake balls and a bowl of muddy buddies in the center.

One of my favorites!

Oh, and the cookies were one of my favorites too, I had a lot of favorites.

Remember the cookies?  Oh wait, I only showed you one style, here's the other two.

A pretty edible wafer paper flower on the corner, with a fondant center.

Cake Lace on another and one with sprinkles.

It was a beautiful sunny day, which was perfect to showcase the window treatments!

Paper buntings and burlap garland hung from window to window.

With fans in between.

Okay, now I'm hungry for something sweet, how about you?

I have just a few more things to show you from the party before I move on.

So Shabby it's Chic!

  2. Wow, what an amazing table. The birthday girl was so lucky to have such an incredible party thrown in her honor. I really love how you used the shelves to hold your treats. Now when I'm out shopping, I'm going to have to keep my eye out for unusual props to hold my treats like that one.

  4. Amazing party table! What a special honor it must have been for your friend to have a party like that. Everything was apparently made with love as each item was so detailed. Certainly not the kind of party most people get to have! Although, I think any party given for any birthday is special. We are so blessed to get to experience life like this! Thanks for sharing your amazing gift to your friend!!! I can't imagine how she felt!!! WOW!!!
