The Partiologist: Lace Valentine Cookies!

Lace Valentine Cookies!

Do you want to impress your Valentine?  I'm here to tell you, you can!  Would you believe no intricate piping is involved?  As you probably already know, I love the chocolate cookies I've been making and I really, really LOVE these cookies.  So simple, yet so elegant.
Lace Valentine Cookies

After making the edible cake lace, the cookies were complete in minutes.
Yes, the lace is edible, I know it looks like a paper doily, doesn't it?
I show in my video how I attached the lace to the cookie with it being easy to remove before eating, just in case you don't want to eat the lace.
I am totally in love with the look of the cookies.
The chocolate cookie, the red icing, the white lace and to top it off, the red fondant rose.

The video shows the process of making the cookie, the lace and fondant rose.
At a glance, a few photos of the process.
I could have made 100's of these cookies, I didn't want to stop.
A Rose is a Rose is a Rose...
Until it's on a Lace Cookie!

  3. Kim- those are INCREDIBLE!!! A shame to eat them!!!
What does the "lace" taste like? Is it gummy, crunchy, melt in your mouth??
I never worked with this before but after watching your video, I am going to try it. Thanks for sharing - you are so talented & creative!!!

    1. Well, they were so easy, I'm happy to make more! As for the taste, well, I was trying to get around that! LOL It is flexible, but in my opinion doesn't taste great. That's why I only attached it at the middle, so the recipient can lift it off if they please. If you give it a try, let me know what you think of the taste! Thanks!
