The Partiologist: Brush Stroke Flower Cookies!

Brush Stroke Flower Cookies!

I've been at it again, working in my flower garden.  I know you've seen my big bright buttercream flower cookies in the past, but I have good news.  I've made them even easier than before and a video showing how.  You're welcome.

Brush Stroke Flower Cookies!

Seriously, if I told you how I made them, you wouldn't believe me.

So I'm going to show you.

And do you remember me making the royal icing dots?

If not, check it out HERE.

Are you loving the colors?

Me too!

I wanted to make a lot of these flower cookies and needed a way to make them go fast.

Like faster than using a brush.

So I came up with this method and it worked perfectly!!

I used Wilton #5 round decorating tips for each color.

Buttercream Recipe HERE.

And wear any kind of food safe Powder-Free Disposable Vinyl Gloves for Foodservice!

Here's the video I promised.

Maybe I should have called these finger stroke flower cookies?

But that would be weird.

What's in your Garden?
