The Partiologist: Sweetheart Cupcakes!

Sweetheart Cupcakes!

It's a Valentine cupcake without a reason.  Because I have a blog, I can make cupcakes anytime and say to my husband I needed to make them for my blog.  In reality, I made them because I was hungry.  For cupcakes.  And he'll never know the difference because he doesn't read my blog.  I know, I can't believe it either.

Sweetheart Cupcakes!

I decided I needed to make them cute enough to use for my blog.  But easy enough that I wouldn't feel bad about eating them for no reason.

Mission accomplished.

There is no tutorial other than bake or buy the cupcakes, find cute cupcake wrappers and add a conversation heart to the top!

This is how it started, I woke up hungry.  Hungry for cupcakes.  I tried to stop my craving with all kinds of things and none seemed to work.  So I gave in.

I decided if I was going to eat cupcakes, I might as well make it worth my while.  So I made red velvet cupcakes with cream cheese frosting.  After eating several a few, I quickly gave the rest away.

It's up to you to choose the flavor that will satisfy your cupcake craving.

  1. Conversation Hearts are one of my favorite parts of Valentines (along with Little Debbie Cakes)... so these cupcakes are perfect in my books!

    1. I love the simple touch of the conversation hearts too! Last year I did three decorated Little Debbie Cakes for Valentine's Day, they were so fun!
