The Partiologist: Rudolf Cookie!

Rudolf Cookie!

First a post of Ginger & Spice, then a post about Gumdrops...what is this leading up to?  Christmas of course!  Rudolph is one of my favorite Christmas characters and making these cookies were so much fun.  Plus, it's my first You Tube Video!!

The many faces of Rudolph!

Tangled In Lights!

She put a BOW on it???

 His perfect match...Clarice!

Ready, Santa!

See Him In Action!

Yes, you saw it here...The one and only Rudolph cookie with a blinking nose!  When I found these little blinking noses, I knew exactly what I had to do.

(After removing the nose from the package, I cut off the elastic band).  Right before you're ready to serve, turn the nose on and pipe a small amount of frosting around the rim of the nose and stick on the cookie.  His nose should blink for hours or until someone eats the cookie!  Is the nose food safe?  Why of course, I ate one - just kidding!

  2. They eyes on the bottom two cookies are precious. I just made some modeling chocolate reindeer and now I want to go back and do them all over again using those eyes. I love them and all the cookie designs. The blinking nose is too cute!

  9. Your cookies have ALWAYS been an inspiration. Now you must be congratulated on the blinking video. Now the taste/tongue is satisfied, the eyes to see are smiling and now we can add the EARS are entertained too. Great job....always a treat to see whats up.

    1. Thank you Luanne! I actually found the blinking noses at Joann Fabrics - I also saw them at Hobby Lobby and Michaels. Kathy commented (below) that she saw them at AC Moore. Hope this helps!

  12. Love all your masterpieces and wonderful ideas! Your cookies are especially inspiring since my kids love cookies and I am terrible at decorating them (thankfully, the kids have been very forgiving to date, lol!). Would you so kindly share what type of icing you use for your cookies and how you get those lovely "ridges" on them?
    Many thanks, Wendy
