Dr Pepper Football!

Brought to you by Dr Pepper® and Albertsons Companies.

I don't know about you, but in our family we celebrate five seasons...the fifth season being FOOTBALL season!  How about you, do you spend every weekend watching football while enjoying your favorite beverage?  We certainly do and when I found Dr Pepper cans with football décor at Albertsons Companies stores, I knew it was going to be a win win!

Yard Line Rice Krispie Treats!

I sure make a lot of Rice Krispie Treats, don't I?  This idea can be used on cookies, brownies or any other bar you like.  For some odd reason RKT are the first to come to mind.  Maybe because I can have them made before you can say snap, crackle, pop.

Game Day Pennants!

Have you heard of the fifth season?  You know, Football season?  Yes, it's time to get ready and cheer for your favorite team, no matter when or where.  Wilton has everything to make your team a success, or at least your party.

Game On with Wilton!

Whenever it's time to get together and watch football with family and friends, I'm in charge of dessert.  No one ever asks me to bring anything involving protein.

I was so excited to use the Wilton candy melts in my favorite teams colors and the Wilton mini cake pans were the perfect size to make my brownies!  This is how I want to kick off my football season, how about you?

JET-PUFFED Crispy Cereal Treat Sports Balls!

Every time I have a reason to celebrate, which is often, it involves crispy cereal treats made with the one and only JET-PUFFED Marshmallows.  And when I'm craving something sweet, this quick and easy Marshmallow recipe is the first that comes to mind.

Today is no different.  With a summer filled with sports... all kinds of sports, I am showing you a few ways to celebrate.

Football Cake Pops!

I burnt the stadium.  Yep, that's right, I had big plans to show you my beautiful stadium cake all decked out for the super bowl.  But instead, I'm showing you football cake pops.  After a person burns a stadium, there is just not a lot of energy or desire to remake the cake.

I barely wanted to make cake pops.  But I'm not a quitter... I wanted to win you over with something before game day.  After eating the salvageable scraps from the stadium, I was full and happy again.  So then I begin making the cake pops.

DIY Candy Bars

I love my new candy mold...let me tell you just how much I love that mold.  When I went to put it with all my other Valentine molds, I already had one and I have no recollection of buying it.  That's not good, right?  After I made the candy, I decided to wrap it up for giving, or honestly, just to keep me from eating it.  You'll notice I wrap everything...

Anyway, while wrapping the candy bars, I saw a vision for a football candy bar.  Only I couldn't wrap a valentine bar with a football wrapper, right?   So I made the Valentine candy bar with the mold and wrapped a Hershey bar for the Super Bowl.

50 Yard Line Brownies!

EEK!  It's Friday and almost time for another day of football.  I've been wanting to make these brownies since before the first kick off of the season.  Looks like I've waited until the two minute warning, but I think I pulled it off.

Do you notice anything different about these 50 Yard Lines?  Take a closer look.

Football Party Mix!

It's almost time for another day of football.  Don't get me wrong, I'll sit and watch football all day long if I can snack on this football party mix.  Okay, that was a lie, I'll sit and watch a little football and eat a lot of the party mix.

Chocolate Topped Rice Krispie Footballs!

It's wouldn't be a Super Bowl party without them.  It's almost game time and today I'm over at Hungry Happenings sharing a game day favorite.  I don't think I've ever been to a super bowl party with out seeing a rice krispie treat and these are so simple and impressive, you can have them ready before kick off.

You could very well become the MVP of the game if you show up with these.

Referee Cake!

Greetings all my football lovin' fans and also my not so football lovin' fans!  Today I'm over at Hungry Happenings sharing how to turn that Ugly Christmas Sweater cake into a Referee Shirt.  Nothing ugly about it, unless we're talking about last years Super Bowl.

Realistic Football Slice Cookies!

I look for cookie inspiration everywhere and because I like to eat my crafts, I wanted to recreate an idea I found in Oriental Trading.  Not only do they provide some of the best party supplies, they also provide more edible inspiration than I'll ever have the time to create.  I have wanted to make these cookies since the beginning of football season.

Today is the day.

Football Cookie Pies!

Today I'm over at Hungry Happenings with another sweet treat.  But first, how was everyone's New Year?  I'm off to a good start, broke my resolution the fist day, so now I can get on with the year and not feel any pressure.  I kind of planned it that way.  Because it involved these cookies.

Don't mistake them for Whoopie Pies, these are so much easier to make.
