Sno Cone Cookies!

Good Morning and welcome to summer vacation.  In the eyes of my husband, I'm always on summer vacation...for the record, I'm not.  How could he possibly know every time I hear the garage door open, I start cleaning or begin to toast a bagel and by toasting a bagel I mean preparing his dinner.  I do mix it up once in awhile, the choices of bagels are endless.

Hmmm, maybe I am always on summer vacation.  Anyways, summer vacation includes sno cones, right?  Today I'm making the non drippy version of the sno cone, the cookie sno cone.

Marquee Brownie!

I'm not sure how, or even why this idea came to mind.  Maybe it's because everywhere I look I see some kind of marquee letter or sign in lights.  So I guess it's only normal to turn it into a brownie, right?  Well, my normal.  And it's the perfect way to direct guests to the party!

Around the Circus in 80 Days!

I know I told you the circus was over, but I forgot about this post and I already had it put together.  Sorry.  I really believe it took me about 80 days to showcase the entire Circus!  Maybe that was just a little too long to keep your interest and in case you missed something, which I'm sure you did, I'm going to give you a one stop circus shop! That means I'm highlighting some photos of the circus and you can click on the link under the photo to see the entire post.

Carousel Cake!

I think I saved the best for last.  What would a Carnival be without a Carousel?  This little project of mine didn't seem to complicated when I thought of doing it...in my head.  Once I started, that was another story.  So I'm going to tell you up front.  Don't Do It!  If you can find someone to make this cake for less than $500.00 you've got yourself a bargain!  My hat's off to all those cake decorators out there!  Don't ever, EVER question the cost of a cake!

No Treat Left Behind!

After posting more circus treats than you probably care to see, I decided that no treat should be left behind.  And that's what this post is all about.  The treats that didn't make it into earlier posts, but I still want to share them with you.  Don't you think they deserve a shout out too?  First up...

The Gypsy King!

Here's another one of my creations I couldn't wait to share.  While at the Carnival, some may need to be told their fortune.  Which was "You will have a Good Time".  I did not need to have The Gypsy King tell me I would have a good time because I had a GREAT time at the party and creating this corner.

Midway Buffet & Appetizers!

Really, what does one serve at a Carnival/Circus?  I came up with a few things.

Chocolate Peanut Butter Cheesecake!

NO WAY... the circus isn't over, I'm just moving over to the carnival.  After you grab your ticket you can have a piece of Cheesecake.  Chocolate Peanut Butter Cheesecake!  It was totally worth the ride~

Mini Chocolate Treats!

Adults left unattended will be sold to the circus!  That was a sign I made and I would show a photo of it, but one of the unattended adults "took" the sign home before I got a photo!  Or maybe they were sold to the circus, not sure.  I am for sure one of my favorite chocolate treats were the...

Funnel Cakes & Churros!

No Carnival would be complete without Funnel Cakes.  I did my research and found a good recipe so I could make them myself.

Popcorn!

Can you believe all the ideas for popcorn? In it's own little corner. It looks like a few gourmet chocolate covered strawberries snuck in.  Only because I had some matching paper cups.

Photo Booth!

No Carnival would be complete without the added Photo Booth!
And by added, I mean an entire wall of fun for photos.

Animal Crackers!

Happy Monday Morning!  Decided to start the week with another simple treat I made for the Circus.  I could have taken the easy way out, but I'm really glad I didn't!  These little circus animals were soooo good.  In fact they were some of the favorite treats of the circus.  And even before the circus.  And I have plans to use this recipe again and again and again!

Under The Big Top!

The show must go on.  Since the invitation read "Under The Big Top", I wanted to have some sort of  "Big Top" over my table for the five ring circus.  And my wish came true, thanks to Oriental Trading!  It was the easiest table decor ever and worked perfect to help display fifteen kinds of Circus treats!

Featuring...Cotton Candy

Every Circus has cotton candy and this Circus was no different.  Well, kind of different.  It had four kinds of cotton candy.  I really love cotton candy, so I made sure I had enough just in case some melted in my mouth, not in my hand.   The backdrop was made out of foam board and paper squares cut with my cricut.  I used a large round paper punch to cut out the letters I printed on the computer.  Strung the letters with white ribbon and white crepe paper streamers (which I bunched together and glued to the back of the board).

Circus Elephant Muffins!

Happy Monday Morning to you!

Besides having clowns at my party, I needed to have some circus elephants.  No better way to have them perform, than on top of a muffin.  A Caramel Apple Muffin.  They did a great job, you know what they say, "Practice Makes Perfect"?  Well, they did practice and they were perfect!

Same Circus...Different Clowns!

Don't you think it's about time to get back to the Circus?  Well, I do!  There are so many Circus Acts going on, I couldn't decide where to begin.  How about we Clown Around with some beverage glasses.  Believe me, there were no tears on these Clowns, in fact they might just put a smile on your face.

Circus Sundaes & Freaky Frappes!

How about a little something simple from the Circus today?
With a cute cupcake stand in hand, I knew just what to serve!

The Greatest Show On Earth!

I've had alot of parties in my life and this really was "The Greatest Show On Earth!".   So now  I will admit, this party was for ADULTS.  My friends all know I'm a clown so they really didn't think it was too unusual for me to throw an adult themed circus party.  Other's may wonder....

Sno-Cone Cupcakes!

I think I have a cure for the case of the Monday's.  I really, REALLY wanted to have Sno-Cones at the Circus.  I knew the real thing would be a little messy and I don't like having to deal with a mess during a party.  I am there for the entertainment.  I am the entertainment.  Anyway, I figured out a way to have my Sno-Cone and eat it too!
