Snowman Cake!

Well, if it isn't snowing enough for you to make a snowman outside - I've got the goods for you to make this snowman INSIDE!  It won't melt, but it will disappear...I promise.  It was one of my favorite cakes from years ago and I wanted to bring him back!  Enjoy!

Snowflake Trees!

What do you do when it's cold and snowing and you're in the mood for spring?  I don't know about you, but immediately after Christmas I want spring.  And in Colorado it sometimes feels like spring in January.  You'll see 60 degrees one day and then the next day it's snowing and a -11 degrees, just to remind me it's NOT spring.  So to satisfy my spring craving, I decided to make shimmering trees decorated with snowflakes.

Snowmen Dress Up Cookies!

Do you want to build a snowman?  Me, not so much, but I would like to build a snowman dress up cookie.  I made the mistake of going out to buy groceries, only I went to Michaels instead.  By the time I was finished digging through the sales, I was too tired to go the grocery store.  Lucky for me, I found cookie cutters on sale, complete with accessories.

I made cookies instead of dinner.  It happens a lot.

Snowball Cookies!

With the snow continuing to fall, it's always fun to have a snowball fight, or maybe not.  But it was fun to make the snowball cookies.  You'll definitely want to be hit with one of these!

Snowflake Brownies!

Baby it's COLD outside!  And I'm not just singing a song, today the high is going to be 21 degrees and we're covered in snow.  I love snow, I love cold, I love to be inside when it's snowy and cold.  Inside eating brownies with snowflakes.

Coconut Icicle Cake Plus Two More!

Please don't adjust your set, it's Saturday and I'm over at Hungry Happenings because of a schedule conflict.  I'm going to share a super cool cake with you.  It's cool because it's dripping with icicles and not really too hard to make.  I knew you would like the not hard part.  Now you can enjoy a winter wonderland indoors with this

Disney Frozen Cookies!

I've been posting a lot of tricks on sticks lately, not today.  Still cute as can be... no sticks needed!  What you will need, is a box for cute packaging.   Recently my niece had a Disney Frozen Birthday Party.  And because it is a tradition for me to make cookie decorating kits for my nieces and nephews birthday gift, I decided to make a Frozen Cookie Decorating Kit.

Frozen Cookies!

When making my Uncle Sam Cookies last week, I had planned to make another cookie, a mosaic flag. I could see it in my mind, beautiful little squares of fondant placed so perfectly on my royal icing covered cookie...royal icing?  That's where it all went wrong,
I didn't make my royal icing thick enough and it not only covered the top of my cookie, it ran all down the sides of the cookie.  It was really quite pretty and in an instant, I saw a chance to make the dripping mess into a sparkly "Frozen" cookie.

Melted Snowman Cake Pops!

Waking up to blanket of snow, I thought I should make another snowman.  Only the temps are going to reach 60 degrees tomorrow, so he'll probably melt faster then I get him built.  Which makes me think of Mr. Melty.  Mr. Melty is a cookie created by Meaghan Mountford of The Decorated Cookie.  Today I'm giving a shout out to Meaghan and Mr. Melty because he was the inspiration for my "You Melt My Heart" Snowman Cake Pops!

Brownie in a Mug!

What better way to warm up after a day on the slopes then with a mug of Hot Chocolate?  How about a Brownie in a Mug?  This is truly the only Mug of Hot Chocolate I would order.  I like to eat my chocolate, not drink it.

Sledding Snowman S'mores!

Living in Colorado, I do enjoy the snow.  From the inside.  Like, I love to look at it through the window...but play in the snow?  Not so much, I don't like to be cold.  But I do like to play in fake snow!  While shopping for Christmas treasures on clearance I found Snowman Peeps and Candy Canes... that's when I decided to make Sledding Snowman S'mores!

DIY Snowflake Gift Bag!

While the flakes are falling, I'll be warm in my kitchen making snow.  Faux Snow.  Okay, I really didn't make the faux snow, I bought it.  I did, however, make the snowflake bags!

Chocolate Snowmen!

I've been enjoying the snow, but the cold...not so much.  I love it when I see a little snowman in someone's front yard and I really love that I didn't have to build it.  The snowmen I build keep me warm and cozy, like this bag of hot chocolate mix.

Let It Snow...

Here in Colorado, I'm ringing in the new year with a blanket of snow. Some of you might not see snow this January...no worries, you can make your own! Just tap your heels together.
