Having two daughters, I tend to stick with all the girly things. Then one day, I have to come up with an idea for a get well gift for my nephew. I knew it would be cookies, because he loves my cookies. But what kind of cookies? The mustache trend might soon be over and I haven't had a chance to use anything from my mustache stash, until now.
I Mustache you to get well!
If your nephew is not sick, and I hope he isn't, the cookies would be a great father's day gift too, right?
You could say, "You're Fan Tache Tic, DAD!" Okay, I tried.
I decided to make the cookies in these bright colors because they would look cute in the basket.
And here's how...
Using a mustache and top secret cookie cutter (Empty Altoid case) I made my cookies.
Frosted with my special technique - you know the drill.
Added chevron markings with another cutter.
Then I rolled Wilton fondant very very thin and punched out black mustaches.
Grabbed a bag and box at the dollar store and gathered ribbon to match.
Then I made a label. I think it took me longer to make the label then it did to make the cookies.
