As long as I'm living in the 70's, I decided to add tie dye donuts to start the day. Unlike the 70's Theme COOKIES, they can be made in a hour - start to finish, but it won't take long for them to disappear!
Tie Dye Donuts
Just Hang Loose and follow along!Mix up a batch of donut glaze (recipe below).
Divide the glaze in four small bowls.
Drop a couple drops of neon food color in each individual bowl until you reach your desired color.
Use four zip lock plastic baggies and fill each of them with the colored glaze.
Cut a SMALL opening at the tip of each bag.
Make sure to have a place to set them upright so the glaze does not run out.
Start with a dozen store bought donuts and drizzle glaze around the donut with all four colors.
Take a toothpick and drag through the icing from the inside out all around the donut.
Then go back and drag the toothpick through the icing from the outside in.
