The Partiologist: Alice's Wonderland Bakery Birthday Party!

Alice's Wonderland Bakery Birthday Party!

Over the years, and I'm talking over the hill years, I didn't know any of the newest cartoons. But thanks to my two little loves, I am now familiar with them all. like all. or most all.

Anyway, my granddaughter wanted a Alice's Wonderland Bakery themed birthday party and who was I to say, I don't know how to make desserts for that party, could you pick another theme? Nope, I did what any Gigi would do. Come up with sweet treats for her party.

Alice's Wonderland Birthday Party!

Of course, I had to make a cake. And believe it or not, this was pretty simple. Using a embossed rolling pin, I rolled out fondant in three different designs to make the cake topper. I added more white fondant for the frosting and cut out small fondant sprinkles.

After putting the cake topper pieces together, I let them harden so it would hold it's shape when I placed it on the cake. Next up, were the cookies.

Well, I didn't exactly have any cutters that were meant specifically for this theme. So I made a few of my own shapes, by piecing one or two cutters together.

And this is what I ended up with. Just in case you don't recognize some, along with the obvious there is a wire whisk, rolling pin and a design that is Alice's signature swirl. IYKYK.

One of Brynlee's favorites were the donuts.

Drizzled and sprinkled.

You know I would have RKT.

And these were not easy. Drizzled with chocolate and individually topped with fondant to match her headband.

A little bit easier were the swirl topped peanut butter bars.

The toppers were also made of fondant.

And let's not forget the pretzels. Topped with a fondant cupcake.

Many more bakery items, and boxes to fill to take home!

Hope you enjoyed Brynlee's Wonderland Bakery!
