Winnie the Pooh, Winnie the Pooh! Well let me just say I've had this little song playing out in my head for a few days. My grandson loves Winnie the Pooh, so having a Pooh themed dinner party was yet another reason to celebrate Disney!
Winnie the Pooh Party
And I must say, it was so much fun creating this table with all the things I had on hand! You can only imagine my storage system.
It started out with all the little Pooh and Friends Stuffies. Then I remembered all the gold dishes I could use along with the green table runner and wood slices for displaying all the treats.
It all turned out so cute. I'm not sure what I loved best, but I'll start with the cookies.
With little Piglet propped up as another little piece of the table décor. Here they are without packaging.
So cute, right? Next up are the "HUNNY" pot cupcakes.
Would you believe I had small terra cotta pots and paint, so I turned them into "HUNNY" pots. Just like Disney Magic! After the cupcakes were baked, I placed one inside each pot and added frosting and a little bumble bee to the top.
Even though they may not be every one's favorite, I seem to always make some sort of RKT.
I mean, who wouldn't love a chocolate topped RKT with a Pooh face made of yellow candy melts placed on top? Yeah, count me in.
So with all the Stuffies and treats, my table was complete.
Eeyore looking on, waiting for the minestrone soup to be served.
Mickey and Minnie Mouse standing by...
Along with Pooh...
And Piglet...
And I must not forget Tigger.
Yes, now my table is complete.
As I mentioned earlier, I served homemade minestrone soup along with homemade calzones. But not just any calzone. They were Pooh and Piglet calzones.
I had the Pooh and Piglet mold and even with the mold, they were hard to make. But I was on a mission and I knew I wouldn't be able to stop until the mission was complete.
No tutorials but if you have questions as to how anything was made, leave me a comment!
I've got to go, it's time to start planning the next party!
This is so cute!
