The Partiologist: The Fifth Season!

The Fifth Season!

I don't know about you, but around my house, we enjoy five seasons.  With the fifth season being FOOTBALL SEASON!  So for all the football fans out there, this ones for you!

Go Team!
Thankfully, I can hold my head high as my Broncos are WINNING!

And yes, I do know that not everyone cheers for the Broncos, but sprinkles come in ALL colors, so you can recreate these apples with your team colored sprinkles!

Of course, melt your caramels, insert the sticks in the center of granny smith apples.

Melt caramel (use less water than it calls for), dip apple, roll in chopped pecans.  Melt chocolate and dip or drizzle around the caramel & pecans.  Immediately sprinkle with TEAM colored jimmies.  And if you like, tie on a tag~I'll even make you one for your team - today only!

Now, if you happen to not really care for football, but love caramel apples, I didn't forget about you.  Here's a couple more ways to dress up your caramel apples.

Using the above method, after rolling the caramel in chopped pecans, drizzle chocolate all around the apple.  Package and tie it with a cute candy corn ribbon or any other ribbon.  I recommend tying it because then you are less tempted to eat it.   Just don't double knot it...

And if you're really wanting to get creative and have candy melts on hand, go ahead and dip in the caramel, drizzle with three colors of candy melts, add a few black sprinkles and you'll have yourself a Halloween Caramel Apple in no time.

Remember...no double knotting.
Wishing you...

Treats & Touchdowns!
