The Partiologist: Fall Decor - Chocolate Squares and More!

Fall Decor - Chocolate Squares and More!

One more fall post before I move along to something I've been planning for a long long time!
But first, remember the little chocolate squares?  You won't believe how simple it was to create the maple leaf chocolates.

Maple Leaf Chocolates
Well, you're gonna love me for these.

Here's the recipe...

Go to the store and pick up some Snickers Fun Size Peanut Butter Bars.

I decided to dress them up just a bit, with fall leaves!

So I rolled out some fondant and colored it.

Just kept adding color until I liked it and then made four other colors.

Cut out some leaves and put them on a Wilton Flower Form to dry.

Next I used a bit of chocolate frosting to stick a leaf on each piece of candy.

See how easy!!

Then for some reason, the morning of the party I found this adorable banner to make - two hours before the guests were to arrive, but I knew I had to make it.

I printed it and cut out some little squares, glued on some brown ribbon and that was it!

Here is the link to the wonderful site of Jesse Irene (Holiday Haven) and her free printable!

The little place cards were another easy part of the décor.

Started with some ivory business cards and felt leaves.

Used a Fall Font, printed out the names, glued on the leaves and added a little raffia ribbon.

Then I sat each one on a tiny little grapevine wreath on each leaf plate.

Easy Peasy Fall!
