The Partiologist: Conversation Heart Party - Sweet Treats

Conversation Heart Party - Sweet Treats

My sister told me I send out too many posts.  So I tried not to send this one until Saturday, but I couldn't do it.  I've got to stay on pace.  If I'm going to show you all the treats I made for the party before Valentine's Day, I'll have to show you treats like you've never seen.

White Chocolate Heart Suckers
And I'm a sucker for anything sweet!  Used colored candy melts and a mold.  Added a little wooden heart to the outside of the package.

And I've always wanted to make chocolate spoons.
Once again, these were easy to make using my chocolate mold.  Fill with chocolate and add some pastel dragees before they are completely hard.  Another treat to keep the conversation going.

Chocolate Peanut Butter Cheesecake Truffles.
Rolled in mini chocolate chips and placed on little red paper cups on white heart doilies.

Make room for Chocolate Ganache Cake Balls.
After rolling in balls, I coated each cake ball in jimmies and placed in matching baking cups.
I used candy melts and conversation hearts.
Placed the candy melts on parchment paper on a baking pan.

Put them in the oven at 300 degrees for a few minutes until softened - watch closely!

Before the chocolate hardens, top with conversations hearts.
Easy Peasy!

  8. Is it too late to ask how you did the spoons? Is there a mold for the bowl part of the spoon and then is that an adorable stir stick with knob on the end? Just too precious....I need, I want, I love. Thanks.
