The Partiologist: Let's Go To The Hop!

Let's Go To The Hop!

I hope you've recovered from the dog paw-ty - Max and I are doing great, thanks for asking.  For now, it's on to more exciting news.  My blog has a new look - did you notice?  It's still me, (disclaimer:  my hair is not pink and my waist is not that tiny)  Don't you think it looks lighter and brighter, which  means less calories in the treats - right?
In honor of my light and bright blog makeover, I am going to show you light and bright party treats.  This time, the treats are going TO the party - a party for two sweet little girls who are having a 50"s themed birthday party.  I didn't know how much time I would have to get everything done, I knew I wanted to make cookies, so that's where I started!
50's Themed Cookies~

I had planned a tutorial, but it took me two days to decorate 24 cookies, so the tutorial would have been almost a month long.  So I opted to show individual photos of the cookies!
The 50's Diner~
The Cat Eye Sunglasses~
Swinging Poodle Skirt~
Off the Shoulder Sweater~
A Poodle Skirt to go with the Sweater~
And Saddle Shoes to go with the outfit~
Dice for the Chevy~
The Birthday Girls~
Something from the Soda Shoppe~
Our favorite songs on the Jukebox~
Playing Rock-N-Roll~
Retro 50's~
Let's Go To The Hop~
And because they took me two days, please take another look~
Next week I'll show you the other sweets I made and if you like, you can make them too!

See You at The Hop!

  1. Your cookies are so cool. How on Earth did you make those teeny tiny poodles? I love how you thought out of the box and did the off the shoulder sweater, so 50's.

    Your blog is looking great!
