The Partiologist: All that glitters is GOLD!

All that glitters is GOLD!

Can you believe I'm actually hosting a Christmas party that doesn't have anything red or green?

Yep, it's a party I've been planning for a looooong time.  When I finally got my the storage bins out to see what I had collected over the years, it really was like Christmas.  Sparkly. Gold. Christmas!  I got started right away with the invitations~

Gold Ornament Invitation

They received a plastic Christmas Ornament with the invitations rolled up and tucked inside along with gold confetti and snow.  I was told by many guests how they loved receiving the "box" in the mail.  Yep, this box...

A square 4 x 4 box from BRP Box Shop.  I wrapped the plastic ornament invitation in tissue paper and tucked it inside the box.  Tied it with gold and white cord and sealed it with a tree stamped sealing wax.

Once the invitation was pulled from the box, the details were printed on a small piece of vellum, rolled, tied and tucked inside.

And it went something like this...

You can make one too...I'll show you how!

Print your invitation on Vellum (Three per sheet - horizontal) and cut into thirds.

Order your 4" x 4" boxes from BRP Box Shop

Round plastic Christmas ornaments.

Gold bows.

Fill your ornament with glitter confetti and white snow, roll and tie the invitation with gold ribbon, leaving a little ribbon hanging over the top.

Add the ornament hanger to the top and add a gold ribbon bow by hot gluing.

Wrap each Christmas ornament with tissue paper and tuck inside box.

Tie the box with gold and white twine and seal with told sealing wax.

Personally take to the Post Office to be hand canceled and pay the extra postage.

I can't wait to show you more...

I'm Glowing All Out!
