The Partiologist: Halloween Cookies!

Halloween Cookies!

It's official. Fall. September. Halloween.  All at the same time, or at least everywhere I turn I see Fall and Halloween stuff.  And so far...no Halloween purchases. You see I'm trying to just say no when it comes to buying more stuff.  Sometimes it's hard and I don't know if I'll get through the season without buying something new.  Unless, someone casts a spell on me.  I think my husband might have those powers.  We'll see.

Anyway, because I've made so many Halloween cookies, I decided to share them with you.  And by sharing, I mean share the photos, you don't actually get to eat them. Sorry.

Halloween Cookies!

The set above are ghosts with a stencil face and BOO and an easy spider web.

I have to say this was the easiest and cutest way to package the webs!

Topped with plastic spiders!

Next is a set of neon buttercream cookies.

I used fondant as a base, topped with royal icing for the Day of the Dead cookies.

And imprint cutters.

My favorite...Bugs & Kisses.

Another platter of cookies, this time royal icing cookies.

Black fondant and royal icing topped these skeleton cookies.

Getting to stamp on cookies again.

I'd like to call them vintage.

Whoever (or is it whomever?) might be getting married with a Halloween theme?

These are for you.

Finger puppet cookies.  Now you get to play with your food.

And another way to play...Candy Corn Toss!

If you're going to eat bones, chocolate bones are the only way to go.

Remember the buttercream Halloween banner cookies?

I do.  I just don't remember why.

Along came a buttercream spider.  EEK!

Splatters of blood cookies.

It's about as gory as they get.

It's hip to be a square Halloween cookie.

If the broom fits?

Maybe I've heard that before.

Who doesn't love a smiling candy corn?

Pink cookies for a Breast Cancer fundraiser.

Featuring the buttercream candy corn dream team.

Now I don't know about you, but I love the antique pumpkins.

I could actually show you hundreds more, but I don't want to scare you off this Halloween.    I do have one question...if you were ordering, would you prefer buttercream or royal?

It's all in the details.
