Do you love Disney and Halloween? See Mickey and Minnie all dressed up on decorated sugar cookies. You'll find Frankenstein, a spider web, cauldron, witch, mummy and many many more. No one could decide which one to take home from the party.
Disney Themed Halloween Cookies!
Some are simple and some are a little more complex, but I promise there is something for every Disney lover out there. It's going to be hard to send these out the door for my sister's Disney themed Halloween party, but because I know they're going to a good home, I'll be okay. So what do you think? Are you happy I kept baking and decorating?
I started out using the Halloween designs from my previous Oreo Cookies, Sugar Cookies and even Caramel Apples and Pears.
I've divided them up into two groups, so you can take a closer look. Here's the first set.
Are you loving them?
How about a look at each one individually.
First up is Masked Mickey.

DeleteSo fun Kim! I've always wanted to do a set of Halloween Mickey cookies and yours are the best!!! LOVE them!
ReplyDeleteThank you so much Christine, you are the best! :)
DeleteOmg do you know how much time I'm going to spend looking at these? If you did nothing but Mickey cookies I would never get tired of it! Fantastic job!!!
ReplyDeleteThank you Amy, I was hoping it wasn't too many Disney cookies at once! :)
DeleteAdorable! Kathy
ReplyDeleteLOVE, LOVE, LOVE!!!
ReplyDeleteThank You, Thank You, Thank You!
DeleteHi Kim - did you use the "Disney Parks Exclusive" cutter? It's bigger than the one that comes with the Wilton pair, correct?
ReplyDeleteThanks!
Denise
The one I used I have had for many years and it is bigger than the one in the Wilton set, it's about 3.5 inches. A little smaller than the Disney exclusive. Just about the size of the medium cutter in the home value Mickey set I have listed above.
DeleteNow that I've had time to study them - a couple of questions- the Dracula teeth look like ice cream cones? Do you have a cutter for those? Also, the mask - did you cut that by hand? Thanks for indulging me! Love them!
ReplyDeleteThe Dracula teeth are made with fondant using a micro mini tear drop cutter, listed above. And the mask is a stencil I made myself. Anytime I'm happy to help! :)
DeleteHow did you make the pumpkin mickey ones!?
ReplyDeleteI made the pumpkin with a jack o lantern stencil I made. Also used a #16 star tip across the top with leaves and stem from fondant. Hope this helps! :)
DeleteThey are so cute! I have the old Mickey cutter as well. Would you share your recipe for the icing? I have tried so many and haven't found one that I'm real happy with.
ReplyDeleteI find with any royal icing recipe, and I have tried several, finding the perfect consistency is key. I have practiced over and over again, adding small amounts of water until I found and recognized what did and did not run off the edges. Don't get discouraged, just keep practicing and soon you'll get it! :)
Deletewhat is the recipe for the cookies?
ReplyDeleteHere's a link to another post with a few recipes.

This is so funny! I have two dozen Mickey cookies in the freezer for this exact purpose. I keep sketching and coming up with more ideas and thinking, "I'm going to have to bake more cookies!" Fantastic job, love them!
ReplyDeleteI know, it's the never ending theme! :) Have fun with your set!
DeleteWhere is the recipe for the cookies and icing you used I scrolled up and down the page several times and can't find it?
ReplyDeleteI've added a link below the last individual cookie (yellow with bats).

ReplyDeleteWell, you are just too sweet, thank you so very much!
DeleteHi Kim, are the bows candy or cookie? I love your creativity! I'm going to try to make some for my new daughter-in-law since she absolutely loves Disney and especially Minnie Mouse. Thank you for sharing :) ~Koni
ReplyDeleteThank you so much, the bows are made out of fondant. I bought the mold years ago and it's no longer available. 🙁 I'll have to keep looking!
DeleteObsessed with these since a friend of mine got me the cutter at Disney World. I made some Frankies as I call them and the candy corn, all inspired by you! Thank you! Can't wait to make more :)
