Pumpkin Pie Rice Krispie Treats!

Are you ready for something besides cookies? Okay, so what do you think I'll share today? Oh right, I already told you, it's Pumpkin Pie Rice Krispie Treats...sort of. It's a pumpkin pie look-a-like. The closest thing to tasting like pumpkin is in your imagination. Other than that, it's all Rice Krispie Treat.

Pumpkin Pie Rice Krispie Treat!

When I say I don't like pumpkin pie, I don't mean these.  I love RKT and I love them more when they're covered in chocolate.  This time it's Pumpkin colored white chocolate.

While they don't taste like pumpkin pie, they look a little like a pumpkin pie.

Sliced and ready to serve.  Let's get started.

Press your Rice Krispie Treat mixture in a round pan.  Recipe HERE.

Once the RKT has set up, remove from pan.

Cut in slices.

Melt orange candy melts with a little chocolate.  This way the orange isn't so bright, more like pumpkin pie.

Immediately, start piping the candy melts over each slice of RKT.

Add a dollop of royal icing in the center of each piece for the whipped cream.  And using a ruffle tip, add a border for the pie crust.

Now the pie is ready to be served.
