The Partiologist: Recipe - Crazy Crust Pizza!

Recipe - Crazy Crust Pizza!

Moving along with my after school snacks, I decided to throw in a healthy one - well sort of healthy.  It's a recipe for crazy crust pizza.  I don't know where my mom got this recipe, but it's been around our family since I was little.  I don't make alot of "real" bread recipes, but this one doesn't involve yeast and all the ingredients are things you might have on hand.

Crazy Crust Pizza

Crazy Crust Pizza
2 Cups Flour
2 tsp. Salt
1/2 tsp. Pepper
4 Eggs
1 1/3 Cup Milk
Mix together all of the above by hand, (it will still be a little lumpy)

Pour into greased and floured 11" x 17" pan.

Bake at 350 degrees for 25-30 minutes.

Watch it go CRAZY as it bakes...

Here's a close up~

Each time I make it, it turns out different.   Sometimes it goes really crazy and sometimes just a
little crazy (kinda like me).

Then all you have to do is add your pizza sauce, toppings and sprinkle the top with some Italian seasoning.

Put it back in the oven and bake until the cheese it melted and browned a little!

Enjoy!

On the next post, I'll have another kind of Pizza.

The Sweet Kind!

  1. Good to know that I can throw together a crust from things I normally stock. Is the crust thicker like a bread or crispy? Either way, Yum!

  2. Depending on the size of pan you use, you can make it thicker or thinner. It works either way, but it never is crispy (unless you burn it!) :)

  6. Yum! What a great idea! I love that you don't have to worry about rising/resting time. Homemade pizza is definitely one of our favorites, but I don't always plan ahead enough to make it. Definitely going to give this a try. :)

  8. Looks sooo good and quick. I wish you could have shown a picture of the thickness of the dough. Any suggestions if we prefer a crisp crust? Not fond of burning it :-)

  9. I don't think there is any way to make this crust crisp. Even if it feels crispy on the top out of the oven, once you add the topping, it softens up. Sorry, this might not be the pizza crust for you. :)
