The Partiologist: Popsicle...Cups!

Popsicle...Cups!

I wanted to make a NEW red, white and blue layered dessert.  Layered Jello?  Nope.  Layered Cake?  Nope.  Layered Pudding?  Nope.  Layered Ice Cream?  Nope.  Layered  Popsicles?  Yep.  Maybe this will be the dessert that takes the nation by storm.  Or maybe not.  But it is easy and we all like easy.  No mixing, just layering.

I now present the "Red, White & Blue Popsicle Cups"!

These little beauties can be made ahead of time.  This is what you need~
Fun Pops or what I call them - "POPSICLES"
Pull out a couple of the red and blue tubes and a few little glasses.
Pour half of each Popsicle in the bottom of the glasses and freeze~
The rest is History.  As in I forgot to take more photos.
Spoon in the cool whip.
Wipe any off the side of the glass if you get a little sloppy.  Freeze.
Top with half of the blue Popsicle in each glass.  Freeze.
Add a dollop of whipped cream, sprinkles & a Party Pick!
Now you'll have lots of other leftover colors of Popsicles.  So you know what that means?  You can use them for any other occasion.  Or eat them frozen out of the tube...oh what memories.

  3. Genius! Is it soft enough for little ones to spoon?

  4. Thanks everyone!!!! If you take them out of the freezer a little while before serving, they should be "slushy" enough to spoon.
