The Partiologist: Stained Glass Pumpkins!

Stained Glass Pumpkins!

After finishing up with all the back to school posts, I decided to start the fall season with something simple.  And this time I really mean simple.

Stained Glass Pumpkins

All you need is a pumpkin cookie cutter, rainbow sparkling sugar, parchment paper, cookie sheet and an oven.

Just pour and bake.

Yep, that's it.
Lay your pumpkin cookie cutter on parchment paper.  Pour Sparkling Sugar into the pumpkin cutter until it covers the bottom.  Carefully...CAREFULLY lift off the cutter and repeat until you have the desired amount of pumpkins.

Bake in a preheated oven at 350 degrees for approximately 10 minutes.  Each oven will vary, so set your timer for 3-5 minute increments.  Watch them carefully, as soon as the sugar has melted together, CAREFULLY remove pan from oven.

Let the stained glass pumpkins cool on cookie sheet.  After they are cooled, they will slide right off the parchment paper and are ready to use.  I topped some cream cheese frosted vanilla cupcakes, you can use them on anything!  Make them ahead of time and store in a cool dry place.

Simple, right?

Before I jump into Halloween projects, I want to savor the moment of fall with some of my favorites.  So this is going to be short, sweet and full of treats!

Take a moment to savor the flavor of fall!

 Up & Autumn!

  1. A similar effect to those cookies where you crush candies to fill an open space -- this looks 1000 times easier/better! Thanks for sharing!

    1. Thanks Jean - My blog is a blog through BlogSpot.com that I created. I really don't have much info on web hosting, maybe check GoDaddy.com.
