The Partiologist: Honey Bunny Trail Mix!

Honey Bunny Trail Mix!

Before you go hopping down the bunny trail, you will need a snack.

And the perfect snack for any BUNNY is my Honey Bunny Trail Mix.

Honey Bunny Trail Mix

This could be my new favorite snack whether or not I'm hopping around.

I'll show you why...

Bunny Shaped Pretzels!

After seeing the bunny pretzels at Target, I grabbed Easter M&M's and Mini Marshmallows.

Thought of a few things I could make and decided on the trail mix.

Do you see all the bunnies hopping around?

And the shine?

That's the honey glaze and it's ready in minutes.

In large mixing bowl add:

2 cups mini pretzels (bunny shaped)
2 cups corn Chex
2 cups rice Chex
2 cups peanuts
1 cup dried cranberries
1/2 - 1 cup Easter M & M's
1 cup mini marshmallows

Make the Glaze:

Melt 1/2 stick Salted Butter, add 1/4 cup Honey.

Melt in microwave bowl and pour over cereal mixture.

Stir until coated.

Pour onto a parchment lined jelly roll pan and bake about 30 minutes at 300 degrees.

Pour onto wax paper and immediately sprinkle with the M&M's and Mini Marshmallows.

Let cool.

I did not package the first batch quick enough and some of the bunnies hopped into my mouth.

So I decided I had better package it... quick and cute.

But how?  I found eyes, cupcake papers and a great label from Online Labels HERE

After printing out the labels I stuck on the little eyes and then stuck the entire label on empty Starbucks bottles I had been saving.

I told you I was an organized hoarder!

And to cover the top, I first hot glued a white cupcake paper then topped it with the yellow cupcake paper.

Wrap black tulle around the top and tie in a bow.
And I've made a printable for you to use on your oval shaped Online Labels!
