The Partiologist: Chocolate Almond French Macarons!

Chocolate Almond French Macarons!

It's really not my intention to teach you how to make macarons.  In fact, I wish someone would teach me, like come into my kitchen for a hands on lesson.  Or send me to France.   I'm just here to say, I gave them a try.  Truthfully, this is my second attempt making macarons and I'm convinced a trip to France is necessary.

Chocolate Almond French Macarons!

And like I said, I will someday give them another try.

I'll read more recipes, watch more tutorials and I'm sure in another two years I'll be ready to try again.

This is where my tutorial started...and ended.

At this point, they were looking good.

After they came out of the oven they were no longer the pretty pink color and some other problems I won't point out.

They were perfect for the party, everyone knows I'm not French.

And I added a little swirl rose to the top because they are shabby chic macarons!

And chocolate ganache to the middle because I love chocolate!

Until I figure them out, I will try again...and again....and again.

Mangez bien, riez souvent, aimez beaucoup
