Before moving on to the next party, I thought I would throw in an easy summer treat. Nothing says summer more than a S'mores, right? I don't know about you, but I like to eat my S'mores neat and tidy. Which is the reason I've never eaten a real S'more. Like the ones by the fire. I've made many versions where I don't get marshmallow and chocolate all over my mouth, but I may be missing the point.
S'more Pretzels
Last Christmas I gave you my heart...I mean I made several dipped pretzels with ALL kids of toppings.
Here's the non messy way to make and eat a S'mores.
I used S'more flavored Candy Melts but I've also used melted Hershey bars.
Mallow Bits are a must.
I was so happy I didn't have to crush my own Graham Cracker Crumbs!
And of course the dipping pretzel sticks.
Start by melting the candy melts and dipping the pretzel.
When the chocolate has almost set, add the mallow bits, either by rolling or if you want them even place them on individually, filling in empty spaces.
Next fill a bag with chocolate and drizzle around the marshmallow coated pretzel.
Hold over a paper plate and sprinkle with crushed graham crackers.
And here's the trick to making the marshmallows become soft...place in plastic zip lock bag and freeze. Thaw in bag and they are SOFT!
