The Partiologist: Paris Themed Party!

Paris Themed Party!

When I told you I used every inch of space, I wasn't exaggerating. And it's a good thing I didn't find more space to fill or these posts could go on until Fall. I thought it might be fun to show you what the guest we're treated to when they arrived.

Gramma Gigi's Patisserie!

Bonjour!  Welcome to the party...

As I told you before, I utilized every inch of my counters, including the sofa table which held an Eiffel tower treat stand (which I incorporated from two separate pieces) between two lamp posts. I just had to have the lamp posts!

Under the glass dome were cream cheese mints and the glass vase held pink and white meringues.

The Eiffel tower stand held Coconut Truffles and Coconut Macaroons.

Each Macaroon had a pink fondant baby dress with a mini gold Fleur De Les. The Coconut Truffles were in cute polka dot cups!

This was the perfect spot to hold the beverages, plates and napkins. It's basically serve yourself.

I know I've only shown desserts so far, but I actually made food for my guests to enjoy.

This counter held the Fig and Olive Tapenade with Crusty French Bread and also the Chicken Salad with Croissants was served. Would you believe I've never eaten chicken salad, let alone make it? I heard it was delicious, so I had to give it a try and I have to agree....I loved it!

The rest of the lunch was served in the white bowls on the main island. You may have noticed the bowls in previous photos, now you'll know what was served.

Lunch Menu

Nicoise Pasta Salad
French Onion Soup Wonton Bites
French Potato Salad
Chicken Provencal
Chicken Crepes Florentine

I didn't get any photos of the food, but someone snapped a photo of the Chicken Crepes Florentine. A favorite of all!

As always, the food is a labor of love. I really don't enjoy cooking, but trying new recipes is a must for my parties.

For me, the day of the party is always a challenge to have everything ready at once, including me.  Plus I try to take photos and a video before the guests arrive. My guest of honor is always invited to arrive at least a half hour before the party is scheduled to begin and I just love this time we have together.

Because I always have so many sweet treats, each guest is given a box to fill and take home. I'm sure their family loves when they come to one of my parties!

I hope you enjoyed everything I had to share from the Paris Themed Baby Shower! If you had to pick, what would be your favorite?

Merci Beaucoup!
