The Partiologist: Chocolate Pretzel Crayons

Chocolate Pretzel Crayons

Because I am the teacher...(only of this back to school party) most of my classes will have something to do with art...or fun...or both!
One class was full of crayons, edible pretzel crayons.

Chocolate Pretzel Crayons

I love colorful crayons and I love how fun they were to use in my back to school party. The original idea came from Parties by Hardie.

And to make them the sweetest crayons ever, I dipped them in chocolate!

Chocolate Dipped Pretzel Crayons!

Yes, I'm telling you these are the cutest crayons in the world.

I made the Crayola Topper to complete the package!

Seriously, are these not the cutest??

The Crayola Bag Topper~
CRAYOLA TOPPER PRINTABLE

The Crayola wrapper I originally found online has been removed, this is the closest and works the same, without the color written on the wrapper.
And a little insight on how I made them.
Plenty colored candy melts to get started with.

This is one time it's good to double dip.

First dip one end of the pretzel in colored candy melts and then dip the other end.

Continue dipping until you have all your crayons dipped, completely covering the pretzel sticks.

Now it's time to wrap and package the crayons ~ and this will. take. time.

Print out the crayon template on colored paper (cardstock is too heavy).

Cut each paper into 12 wrappers.

Curl the wrappers (if you want) so they wrap a little easier.

Wrap around the pretzel and tape the back closed.

Print the Crayola Topper, place the crayon pretzels in bags and top with topper!

As long as I had all the crayon colored candy melts, I decided to make solid chocolate crayons to use on top of my brownies.

I LOVE that candy melt crayons can scribble, just like they did on my brownies!

And I found little boxes of Crayola bubble gum.

And the perfect Crayola tin to display them in!

And Crayola Tootsie Rolls!

Now, the entire class of crayons.

Starting with the backdrop, I added little squares of tissue paper to the bottom of each crayon.

I had to add a cool Crayola concoction a/k/a glass of milk .

By sticking a crayon on each glass, they became more fun for the kids to drink!

And I gave these milkshakes the silly name because I didn't know what they were going to be when I made the labels.  And with cute little picks, I made crayon parfaits.

What can I say...I went a little Cray Cray!

That's the way the Crayon...Crumbles!

Crayon Class = Cute

    1. For sure, the children will love them! I attached the topper to the bag with hot glue and I used scotch tape to adhere the wrapper to the chocolate coated pretzel.
