Finally - What you've been saving room for! You will love serving this elegant dessert to all your Holiday guests.
Chocolate Dome
Chocolate Dome
It really is quite simple, but takes just a little time...or alot of time if you make several.
Here is what you need to get started.
Cup, Chocolate Chips, Piping Bag and 4" - 7" Balloons.
Blow up your balloon, rub on some vegetable oil and place in cup.
Fill your piping bag with some chocolate chips.
Melt in the microwave at 30 second intervals.
When melted, snip the end.
Start piping around the balloon overlapping each loop.
Keep piping loops until you get it to the desired size.
After piping around the balloon, let it dry COMPLETELY!
While the dome is drying, get your serving plates ready.
Sprinkle the plates with edible glitter.
Then carefully lift up the balloon and snip a Teeny Tiny hole in the bottom of the balloon while holding.
So very slowly, start letting the air out, you will hear the chocolate "crackle" when it releases from the balloon.
After the chocolate completely releases from the balloon, lift off the dome and set them on wax paper until you're ready to serve.
Right before serving, place your little Chocolate cake on the plate and cover with the dome.
Another angle.
Then do this sixteen more times and you're done.
Or only have four people for dinner!
