The Partiologist: Gold Rush!

Gold Rush!

I'm trying to decide...to post or not to post, that is the question.

You may have noticed that Christmas is less then a week away and if you're like me, you might be running out of time.  I've got a few simple desserts that I think you might like.  (It looks like I decided to post!)  Here's the set up~

Even the area around my cook top is full of sweets!

Hot Cocoa Dippers were a favorite!

And a close up...

Because the guests would be taking these home, I packaged and tied them with little gold ribbons.  I used the recipe for the cocoa dippers from King Arthur Flour and added micro mini marshmallows to the top.

Behind the cocoa dippers were chunks of rice Krispie treats dipped in rich dark chocolate and sprinkled with edible gold glitter.  And of course, a frilly gold pick~

To the left of the cocoa dippers, were cups of coffee filled with bags of take home ground coffee and a cappuccino dipping stick.

Here's a short tute on how to make your coffee cute~

Wonderful Ovation Cappuccino sticks were tied to the top of coffee filled pretzel bags.  Each with a gold tree drizzled on front with glitter glue.

To the left of the cooktop were Scotcharoo bars topped with fondant Christmas Trees

A Season's Treat for sure!

Because the party and all was in gold, how could I add peppermint bark to the mix?  Wanting NO red and white, I found the perfect solution!

I used the Wilton Christmas Silicone Candy Bark Mold, decided to make peppermint bark, with the red and white peppermint to the back!

It worked perfect and the mold had the cutest Christmas sayings across the front!

Another DIY Project for you!

Ready...Set...GO!

To the bottom of each square cake stand, I added gold ornaments to each corner!
I do hope you enjoyed this Gilt Trip!

Shimmer IS Served!
