The Partiologist: Is Your Tinsel Tangled?

Is Your Tinsel Tangled?

I promised more gold and because I always keep my promises.

I'll show you how I even made my buffet sparkle!

Buffet

Each chafing dish with tied with a big gold bow~

Across the top of the cupboards were gold and white paper stars lit up with a string of lights!

The backdrop along the wall was Styrofoam (used from packing material) I had saved.  I wrapped it with white gift paper, added gold garland, gold paper dots and gold rhinestones.

The chafing dishes were placed on top of a white table runner.
On top of the table runner, I added gold fabric.

The menu for the evening included...

Elf Chicks Chicken Italiano Wontons

Santa's Wagyu Beef & Ginger Dumplings

Rudolph's Bang Bang Shrimp

Mrs. Claus' Christmas Crab Cakes

Inviting my guests to enjoy the buffet, were the napkins...

Yes, I do believe I'll have another!

Before additional platters were filled, I glued gold garland and gold berries around the rim of each glass cake stand.  And yes, they peeled right off, only ruining a bit of nail polish!

Here's a sneak peek into what's up next...Shooting Star Cake Pops!

After dipping the chocolate cake ball in chocolate and sprinkling with edible glitter, I had to make something just as much fun for the cake pop stick!  Be careful not to get your tinsel in a tangle!

Always wanting more joy for my jingle, I used inexpensive gold stars and icicles.  I started cutting and gluing until I ended up with a shooting star, the perfect topper for my cake pops!

Are you ready for the Dessert Table????

You would be the perfect hostess:) Your gold party is perfect in every way. I love how you used gold tinsel to make the sticks for your cake pops. You are so clever.
