The Partiologist: Melted Snowman Cake Pops!

Melted Snowman Cake Pops!

Waking up to blanket of snow, I thought I should make another snowman.  Only the temps are going to reach 60 degrees tomorrow, so he'll probably melt faster then I get him built.  Which makes me think of Mr. Melty.  Mr. Melty is a cookie created by Meaghan Mountford of The Decorated Cookie.  Today I'm giving a shout out to Meaghan and Mr. Melty because he was the inspiration for my "You Melt My Heart" Snowman Cake Pops!

Snowman Cake Pops

These melted snowman cake pops are for the serious lover of white chocolate.

It is a cake ball covered... in  white  chocolate!

Here's the outside scoop...

Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

Make your cake pops using your favorite recipe.

Melt the whitest white chocolate.

Pour melted white chocolate over each cake ball.  (You could also use Royal Icing)

Let the excess chocolate run down the cake pop and onto the parchment paper.

After the chocolate has almost set, sprinkle with white sanding sugar, add his carrot nose, Sixlet buttons and two black dragees for eyes.

Once the chocolate has set, turn over and insert a lollipop stick.

Cover the stick with a straw.

It's Snow Use...I'll Melt if you won't be My Valentine!

You're Worth Melting For!

  1. You did Meaghan proud. Your cake pops are so adorable. Did you make the carrot noses out of fondant or did you use store bought candy for them?

  2. I agree with Beth, you did Meaghan proud! I've seen tons of her melted snowman in cookie form all over the internet but never before have I seen them done in cake pop form. Very cute.
