The Partiologist: DIY Lip Balm!

DIY Lip Balm!

When I found these little heart containers at the dollar store, I knew just what to do.  Lip Balm.  Have you ever made your very own lip balm?  It's really quite simple and it can be made in any color/flavor combination.  And it's cute.  And you know I like cute.

DIY Lip Balm

Using a few ingredients, you'll have the softest lips in town!

Kissable lips, just in time for Valentine's Day.

Or you could give them to all your friends with dry, chapped lips.

Along with the perfect tag..
.
You dropped the Balm on me Valentine!

Here's a cute tute to get you started~

Plastic heart containers from the dollar store.

(FYI the lids do not fit tight - they're a dollar, you can't be picky)

Coconut Oil.

Bees wax, coconut oil, fragrance.

Melt the coconut oil and bees wax together until completely melted.

Add a dab of candy color with toothpick until desired color.

Pour into the little heart containers.

Print out the printable.

Punch out (or cut) into a square, punch another hole in the corner to tie with a ribbon.

Insert the heart container into a small bag and tie with tag.

All ready to give...It's what the heart wants!

    1. I don't want you to go into sugar withdrawal, so I think if you would make it a sweet flavor and then lick your lips, you'd be good to go! :)
