You've all heard the saying, "Don't put your eggs in one basket" right? Well, today I'm telling you to make all your eggs into baskets! With over a hundred Easter cookie cutters, I'm using a simple egg shaped cookie cutter to create these little baskets. Because you all have an egg shaped cookie cutter, right?

And chances are, you might just have all the other supplies on hand. Maybe.
Are you ready to weave your basket?
Out of probably 10 egg shaped cutters, this is the one I used.
Really, any egg cutter would work, or squish a round cutter into an egg.
Once the cookies are cut and baked, make brown buttercream frosting and grab a #3 Wilton piping tip. Recipe HERE.
Draw a single line across the cookie, this way you'll have a mark to keep your basket even.
Begin piping horizontal and vertical lines across the cookie.
Detailed instructions HERE.
Next, with a #16 Wilton Piping tip, make the handle by piping continuous C shapes around the top.
Next, with the Wilton grass tip, pipe a row of grass across the top of the basket.
Add another row to the top of the grass.
For the eggs, I used chocolate covered sunflower seeds.
You could always use jelly beans.
Fill your basket with the seeds and top with a little ribbon.
Now you've got all your eggs in four baskets.
It's a sweet Eggscape!
Love!
