The Partiologist: Displays & More!

Displays & More!

Sometimes a person just can't stop creating, said person being me.  Yes, more sweets were made to fill up the space around the cooktop.  Sometimes enough is not enough.

Shabby Chic Desserts

I won't even mention how many times I hit my head while hanging the garland and beads.

On the center island, I added more desserts served around the glass bell jars.

Over on the side, without much room to spare, were the Cream Cheese Mints.  On the top was something I've always wanted to try...

Rice Krispie Treats rolled with a Peanut Butter Chocolate Ganache.

On the top glass tray I served homemade no bake blueberry cheesecake.

With a premade graham cracker crust.  Thank you Nabisco.

On the lower tray, I made the peanut butter and chocolate roses.

Just like I did HERE.

Last but not least, on the lowest serving tray, I served chocolate gingerbread rose cookies.

Remember?

More detailed instructions HERE.

If you want to follow me around the corner, you'll find coffee and water.

Everyone could make a hot cup or take a cold drink.

Besides all the drinks I actually served food...

This was a homemade Chipotle Artichoke Dip with crackers and pomegranate sparkling wine.

Each wine glass was wrapped with a coffee filter and ribbon.

And more food.

Because I invited the guests for lunch, they probably expected food.

Which included the wrap bar, each food label read:

It's A Wrap... Olive Medley

It's A Wrap... Cranberry Turkey

It's A Wrap... Chicken Waldorf

Another space was filled with more savory food, which I forgot to take photos of.

A shabby chic party wouldn't be complete without Mason Jars, right?

Well, this was my first set up.

Yes, I set everything up a few weeks before the party and take photos so I don't forget how I want to set things up.

And yes, I take it all down.  This is the part where my family questions my sanity.

Okay, one of the parts.

Next, I tied each jar with jute, a cute little tag and added a fun straw.

Right before the party, the mason jars were filled with raspberry iced tea.

And the mini mason jars were filled with Greek yogurt, fresh fruit and granola.

The front three jars held Jordan almonds.

I used two bird baths, to hold the cake pops and chocolate 50's around the cooktop.

I have a two more shabby things to share from the party, are you with me?
