I do realize Valentine's Day is Thursday...like in two days Thursday. So I decided to make something quick and easy. So easy, I had them done in a Heart Beat.
Heart Beat Oreo's
Do you celebrate Valentine's Day? With chocolate and flowers? For me, I'm just a chocolate kind of gal. You know I love fresh flowers, but I just can't seem to make them last. Now that I think about it, I can't seem to make chocolate last either.
And the Oreo's lasted long enough to get photos.
I'm sure you know how, but just in case.
Start with white candy melts, a chocolate cookie mold and of course Oreo cookies.
Melt the white candy melts and pour into cookie mold. Add the Oreo.
Cover with more chocolate so that the Oreo is completely covered.
Freeze until solid and remove from the mold.
The little red hearts are store bought candies.
Next, fill a piping bag with black royal icing and snip the end.
Pipe a heart beat line, then stop and add a dot for the heart.
Then finish piping the line.
To make it easier, you could just pipe the line strait across at the end and add the heart candy on top of the line.
I just wanted the heart to stand alone.
If you want to see a video of how to pour the white candy melts over the mold, check out my Unicorn video HERE.
