The Partiologist: I'm Seeing Stars!

I'm Seeing Stars!

I'm trying to decide, is it too soon to send out more ideas?  Again, I'll have to make an executive decision.  I love it when no one is around to ask.

Back to those stars, you know the kind of stars that are cute and sweet and fun to eat?  Super simple and you can make them up ahead of time.

Here are the supplies you'll need~star candy mold, sucker sticks, and nonpareils.
Fill the mold with nonpareils.
Then pour chocolate over the nonpareils~
Let them harden in the refrigerator and pop out of the mold!
Hurry and put them in a bag so you don't eat them.
More stars, more chocolate stars.
Use a sheet of scrapbook paper (one with a tiny design) and cut little rectangles (1 1/2" x 3").  Wrap around little Hershey's and put in pretzel bag.  Don't use Hershey's Nuggets, they won't fit in the pretzel bag.  Ask me how I know this.
Use Hershey's Miniatures.
I won't tell if you "accidentally" buy the wrong size and end up with an extra bag of chocolate.  Again, I had to hurry and bag the candy!

I decided to wait until tomorrow to ask that question, because now I'm worried I might ask a dumb question.  Maybe I'll just stick to stars for now!

Star Light, Star Not So Bright!

  1. Very cute and simple enough for me to do! Those miniature chocolates in a pretzel bag are adorable. What is it about changing the size of a bag that makes things so eye catching?

  4. Love these. Pity no Hershey's over this side of the pond but I love the idea and the colours and packaging. So pretty!
